I ran across a Linux Magazine Article by Nathan Willis that compared the latest Ubuntu release to the current version of Mac OS X. Apparently Mark Shuttleworth told a journalist that he was looking at OS X as the operating system to beat. I suppose he feels he finally has Windows beat.
Anyway, the article goes into pretty good detail as it compares features (or lack thereof) between Ubuntu and Mac OS X, and grades Ubuntu based on that. It averages out at a B+, which honestly surprised me. It’s an interesting read nonetheless. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to ditch Windows or someone exploring other options for your computing needs.
